Welcome to West Coast Hoedown Throwdown, The Looky's all-immersive coastal cowboy Sunday experience running every week this winter. Step in, let your hair down, and leave your worries at the gate. Nobody takes themselves too seriously here, partner! 🤠

Every Sunday from 2pm - live music, a raging bucking bull, line dancing with the Cherry Steppers, DJ into the night, Spicy Wings challenge and flash tattoos by Main St Tattoo (on alternate weeks) to commemorate your first rodeo. Plus the Best Dressed gets crowned at 5pm - so get your best hat and boots on. 🥾

Rodeo-themed food and drinks all day and the bowling alleys are open, yeehaw🍹

Free entry. Just rock up!

HOEDOWN THROWDOWN - EDITION 7
Sunday 30th August

Something a little different this Sunday.

The Lookout is part of the Jazz Connect Festival - and we're kicking things off with the Basilio Brothers bringing live jazz and swing from 1:30–4PM. Think Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, good times on the esplanade.

Then at 4PM, Hoedown Throwdown takes over - flash tatts from 2pm, spicy wings challenge at 5pm, line dancing with the Cherrysteppers from 5:30PM, best dress annnounced at 5:30pm, bucking bull 6-9PM, and country DJs until late.

Jazz to country. Swing to yeehaw. Only in Scarborough.

JAZZ CONNECT FESTIVAL x HOEDOWN THROWDOWN
Kicking off our Sunday with something special - the Basilio Brothers bring live jazz and swing to The Lookout from 1:30–4PM as part of the Jazz Connect Festival.

LINE DANCING
The Cherrysteppers lead the floor from 5:30PM — no experience needed, just boots on and go.

FLASH TATTS
Get branded with a rodeo tatt by Main St Tattoo from 2pm

SPICY WINGS CHALLENGE
Think you can handle the heat? 4 heat levels, no liquids. Free participation, winner gets a bottle of bourbon.

BEST DRESSED
Think you've got the fit? Best Dressed is announced at 5:30PM. Come dressed to impress.

BUCKING BULL
Think you can hold on? The bull is running from 6–9PM.

COUNTRY DJs
The party keeps going with country DJs taking over until late.

FREE ADMISSION
